PRESENTATION OF THE DOCUMENTARY OF ORPHANAGE PROJECT IN NEPAL AT MUSEO IN ERBA IN LUGANO
THE MUSEO IN ERBA PRESENTS THE ORPHANAGE PROJECT IN NEPAL
The Museo in Erba in Lugano hosted yesterday afternoon Vita Association on the occasion of the recurrence of the terrific earthquake that devastated Nepal three years ago: on the 25th of April 2015.
April 25th is a day to remember, as over 8,000 people have lost their lives.
The goal of VITA Association is to give people in need the opportunity for a better future and life, starting from the weakest and most defenseless: the children.
For this reason, VITA Association decided to build an orphanage in Sinduplachock, the most affected and devastated area of Nepal. The structure currently houses 25 orphaned children, but there is the possibility of hosting other children.
During this recurrence event the Museo in Erba presented the video documentary of the Vita Association orphanage project.
I chose the Museum in Erba as a location because it is a museum for children and Vita Association is helping children, less fortunate; I therefore thought that it is the ideal location to sensitize the Ticinese children to other realities. I sincerely hope that mothers and teachers of the schools of the Canton Ticino will spread this message to their children and students.

I sincerely thank the Museum in Erba for the reception and Mattia Sacchi, editor-in-chief of Ticino News who, together with me and Stella Nessi, created the book “Vita for Nepal” through which we collected funds to support this project.
